Christopher Ewing
Life hasn't always been easy for the adopted son of Bobby and Pam Ewing. Christopher's stint on Dallas began when Pam wasn't able to have a child of her own. Kristin Sheperd, Sue Ellen's sister, had announced to J.R. that she was pregnant with his baby. This occurred right after Kristin shot J.R. and she used the baby as her tool to prevent herself from going to jail. J.R. didn't press charges and Kristin went to California, where she miscarried the child. Not wanting to stop getting the payments that J.R. was making to her, Kristin got pregnant by Jeff Faraday and gave birth to Christopher. Kristin later returned to Dallas, where, while high on drugs, she took a fall from the balcony and drowned in the Southfork pool.

In the meantime, Jeff Faraday had contacted Bobby about the baby, informing him that he was the son of J.R. and Kristin. Bobby's intention was to bring the baby home to J.R., but Pam misunderstood and thought the baby was the one they were going to adopt. Bobby convinced Sue Ellen to waive all rights to the baby (she was a blood relative, being Kristin's sister) and he told her that the baby was J.R.'s.

Bobby finally told Pam about Christopher and the two left for Los Angeles where to their surprise, they found out that Kristin had suffered a miscarriage and had gotten pregnant again by Jeff Faraday. After overcoming a few more obstacles, Pam and Bobby eventually got custody of Christopher.

Christopher then came to live at Southfork and grew close to his cousin, John Ross. Things were going smoothly until his parents began to have marital problems, which ended in divorce. Pam and Christopher then moved into the Wentworth Mansion.

Christopher was devastated when he found out from Charlie Wade that Lucas was Bobby's real son. He had already discovered that he was adopted, which struck another blow to his already fragile life. Things didn't get any better when Pam was in a car accident and disappeared from the hospital, leaving a note that she couldn't come back to Southfork. Christopher blamed himself, thinking that she had left because he was adopted and didn't love him.

Bobby got on with his life and dated many women. Christopher grew close to some of them, but none lasted very long. April was probably his favorite, but she too was taken away from them when she was shot in Paris. Christopher then spent some time in England with John Ross and Sue Ellen.

For a while, it was just Christopher and Bobby living at Southfork. Ellie and Clayton were in Europe. Sue Ellen and John Ross were living with Don Lockwood in England, Ray and Jenna were in Switzerland, and J.R. had left Dallas for Europe as well. Christopher grew used to this and enjoyed growing up there.

In 1996, Bobby told him of his plans to sell Southfork. Christopher would be going away to college that fall and Bobby didn't see any use in living there all alone. It was at that time that Julia Cunningham moved into one of the neighboring ranches and Bobby fell in love with her. Living with her was Pamela Rebecca Cooper, who unbeknownst to Christopher and Bobby, was Cliff Barnes' daughter. Christopher dated her for a while and then helped her get her mother, Afton, out of a sanitarium (she had been put there by J.R. in an attempt to get Ewing Oil from Cliff).

Note: The Biography from this point occurred on RTS and shouldn't be considered as part of Dallas, but rather, an unofficial continuation.

They continued to date…Pamela Rebecca had no idea that they were loosely related by marriage. That fall, Christopher went off to college in California, but he returned for Christmas and other holidays. He and Pamela Rebecca continued to spend a lot of time together. It was around that time that Pamela Rebecca found out that Cliff was her father, but since Pam and Bobby weren't married, Christopher and Pamela Rebecca weren't considered relatives, so they continued to date.

Christopher went to college in California for another year and during spring break, which he was spending in Dallas, he and Pamela Rebecca (who had also been seeing John Ross) slept together during a storm in the hayloft at Southfork. He went back to college and Pamela Rebecca grew closer to John Ross, but knew Christopher would be returning home soon for the summer. She anxiously awaited his return. John Ross brought his fiancée, Karen, to Southfork to marry her, but it was revealed at the wedding by Alan Beam (Karen's father), that Pamela Rebecca was pregnant with John Ross' baby. Alan even had pictures to prove it. Devastated, Christopher broke up with Pamela Rebecca.

Immediately afterward, he overheard Sue Ellen and Jenna discussing the fact that he was Kristin Sheperd's daughter. This led to him embarking on a quest to find out where Pam was living. He visited with several doctor's in South America, where Cliff said she had last been seen. Unbeknownst to him, J.R. was orchestrating the events that led him to believe Pam was dead. J.R. didn't know whether she was alive or not. Christopher had found out earlier that J.R. was responsible for breaking up John Ross' wedding. J.R. wanted Christopher away from Southfork for as long as he could keep him away, in order to prevent him from spilling the beans.

Christopher found Pam and brought her back to Southfork, just in time to learn that Bobby and Jenna had been in a plane crash over the Swiss Alps. They later discovered that Bobby was alright. In the meantime, John Ross and Karen had grown closer together, but John Ross was involved in a wreck that put him in a coma. Christopher and Karen began to spend time with each other…both realizing the similarity of their situations. They slept together on the Oil Baron's Cruise and declared their love for each other.

Upon their return to Dallas, they found John Ross awake and had to pretend like they weren't together in order to keep from upsetting him. They eventually told him the truth and on Halloween night, they eloped to Las Vegas, both deciding they didn't want a Southfork wedding. Things were blissful for Chris and Karen for a while. They went to spend some time with Karen's family in Pennsylvania, then returned to Dallas to spend Christmas with the family.

Not long after that, Katherine triggered an explosion at Southfork that ended with Megan Eleanor Ewing being seriously injured. She desperately needed a blood transfusion. No one was prepared for the shock of finding out that neither Pamela Rebecca's or John Ross' blood type matched. Luckily, Christopher was there and was a perfect match. He gave blood and saved Megan's life. He then confessed to John Ross about sleeping with Pamela Rebecca. Megan Eleanor was his daughter.

Kaitlin Ryan, who was Kristin's twin sister, began a sinister plan with Katherine Wentworth. Katherine wanted to hurt Pam's family one by one and was paying Kaitlin to impersonate Kristin by saying that she never died. Christopher believed this and grew close to "Kristin", but she soon came clean. Before leaving town, Kaitlin left Christopher with 21% of her West Star stock, which Christopher later used to get Jeremy Wendell booted out of position of CEO.

Christopher became CEO West Star, with the help of Bobby and Sue Ellen. How long he'll be able to bare the weight of a huge corporation like West Star is still unknown. Already he's tried to sell to J.R., but Karen and Sue Ellen conspired to shred the papers signing it over, which put J.R. in a big tight for money and oil. He and Karen had a huge fight over it and Karen left for Pennsylvania, where she was re-exposed to heroin by her ex-boyfriend, Zack.

With Christopher now at the helm of a multi-million dollar corporation, you can bet that Christopher's life will be filled with many complications. But hopefully once Karen is back at his side, those complications will seem minor as they grow to be Dallas' next big supercouple.
